Scientific Discourse and Argumentation in Elementary Science





Discover how to increase communication and literacy skills and develop academic language, while engaging students in meaningful science learning. Participants will learn the importance of incorporating scientific explanation, discourse, and argumentation in elementary science. This session will involve hands-on lessons to connect the activities to science phenomena, and construct scientific explanations based on evidence.
