Biology EOC Success: Are your STAARs Aligned?

Are you contemplating how to teach, assess, review, and potentially reteach content to your biology students? In this hands-on training teachers will explore Region 4 supplementary resources designed to promote student success on the STAAR® biology exam including:

  • STAAR® Review to Go: Biology – interactive review stations that engage learners, strengthen literacy skills, and review content.
  • Supporting STAAR® Achievement: Biology - differentiated 5-E lessons that address biology readiness standards.
  • Warm ups to Science: Biology – targeted formative assessment activities that elicit student ideas.

Explore how to use the resources to gather student performance data and target classroom instruction, intervention and/or review. Participants will receive a print copy of each product and digital access to the Warm Up to Science and STAAR® Review To Go titles.
