Gangs 301: Creating Systems of Support
Gangs Series #3-School Safety





Participants will learn the team intervention process in the National Gang Model, and experience a team meeting where a support team conducts a staffing on students being supported. Participants will be introduced to designing Multi-tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) school-wide on campuses, which is a framework to support the team process of serving students, and the resources that can be utilized. District considerations for creating common language and addressing student needs will also be discussed.
