Circle-Up: Using Restorative Discipline to Build Relationships





This session is for participants to utilize the content to build relationships with their students or  school staff members.  Circle-Up will provide a comprehensive look at the use of "affective statements" and community circles as a part of restorative discipline practices.  The session includes defining key features of a community circle, participating in and experiencing the circle practice, practicing facilitation of the community circle, ways to evaluate the fidelity of the use of the community circle, and identifying implementation strategies that will facilitate an effective implementation.
