Training Culturally Diverse Groups (Child Nutrition Pre-Conference)

Training Culturally Diverse Groups is part of an ongoing effort by the Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN) to establish and support a national network of trainers. Therefore, the target audience for this course is anyone who wishes to become a more effective trainer within child nutrition programs. The curriculum was designed to assist presenters in acquiring the knowledge and skills needed to effectively deliver trainings to culturally diverse groups, as well as encourage further professional development. ICN also designed this course to be interactive to engage the participant in the learning process.

Important Session Information:

This session is intended for Child Nutrition Directors, Assistant Directors, Supervisors, and individuals responsible for training at contracting entities that are currently participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
