From Chatter to Accountable Talk: Enhancing Academic Discourse in the Science Classroom Power Hour (Virtual)

Do your students struggle to engage in deep, meaningful conversations in your  science classroom? In this session, we will engage in strategies that support  accountable talk, discuss best practices for facilitation, and model scaffolds that  foster a language-rich science environment. Join us as we learn ways to empower  students with the confidence needed to transform casual talk into accountable talk.
