This class is part of a series of Reading by Design intervention trainings. This course will introduce participants to Reading by Design Volume 0- Getting Ready for Reading by Design, a volume of 20 lessons designed for students who need extra support with foundational skills. This material is designed to support foundational literacy before beginning a program like Reading by Design. Lesson components include phonological awareness, alphabet, fine motor, oral language, and components of language. Participants will receive as part of this training Volume 0, an alphabet deck, a feelings poster, and a set of vocabulary picture cards.
*Please note- Within two days of registration, participants must submit a physical mailing address (no PO boxes) using the Google Form link you receive in your confirmation for this course. This address must be submitted a minimum of 10 business days prior to the first training date to ensure material delivery. Participants without materials will be removed from the course with a cancellation fee.
Materials will be shipped after registration for the course has ended, and the week before the session. Materials will only be shipped to participants whose registration has been paid for.
