Unlicensed Diabetes Care Assistantt (UDCA) Training

House Bill (HB) 984 (79th Legislature) requires designated school personnel to be trained on diabetes and its management to include hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia and more as Unlicensed Diabetic care assistants. This is a virtual session with no skills verification. Skills verification should be completed by district nurse.

Important Session Information:



This virtual session will not include skills practice, so each U.D.C.A. should have student specific skills checked by the district/campus Registered Nurse.
