Assistive Technology Implementation - A Post Conference Workshop for Texas Assistive Technology Network

This one-day session will be held as a post-conference workshop after the Texas Assistive Technology Network (TATN) Statewide Conference. Gain valuable insight and resources to support assistive technology (AT) implementation strategies.  Explore processes to introduce and reinforce effective AT policies and practices at the campus, charter or district level.  Network with other statewide AT professionals focusing on AT goals and objectives targeting systemic change. Facilitators will present best practices for implementation that will include tools and rubrics based on the Quality Indicators in Assistive Technology (QIAT) implementation and evaluation of effectiveness of Assistive Technology indicators.

This is a post-conference event for districts and personnel who have attended the Texas Assistive Technology Network Statewide Conference on the consecutive two days beforehand. Facilitators will present best practices for AT implementation which includes tools and rubrics based on the Quality Indicators in Assistive Technology (QIAT).
