Visual/Manual Communication in the Life Skills Classroom
Share
Participate in an interactive workshop that explores practical strategies for communication between educators and students in the life skills classroom. Emphasis will be placed on those students who rely on visual/manual communication to participate in every facet of school life; including daily lessons, socialization with peers and adults; and safety. Attendees will participate in activities that demonstrate creative ways to connect to and communicate with their students.
Session and materials costs are partially funded through state and federal grants.
