Focusing on Section 504

Learn at your own pace about requirements under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 for providing programs and services for students with disabilities. Learn about the differences and similarities between Section 504, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Review Section 504 issues including basic requirements for evaluation, determination of eligibility, developing appropriate accommodations, and maintaining documentation. This module is designed for district coordinators, campus coordinators, teachers and parents. You choose which role you want to learn about.
