Federally Mandated Supervisor Drug and Alcohol Training





Supervisor's Drug & Alcohol Training Mandated by Federal Law; Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration CFR 382.603 requires supervisors to be trained in recognizing signs of alcohol or drug abuse. Supervisors will be trained to determine if reasonable suspicion exists that would require a driver to undergo testing under CFR 382.307. The training shall include the physical, behavioral, speech, and performance indicators of probable alcohol misuse and use of controlled substances and meet the requirements of the one hour alcohol and one hour drug training.
