An Instructional Approach to Challenging Behavior for Students with Significant Intellectual Disabilities





Learn key principles to understanding the behavior of students with more significant intellectual disabilities. Participants will learn strategies for classroom design and instructional intervention to help students develop skills that will reduce their need to engage in challenging behavior. This engaging session will involve the use of anecdotes and activities to help attendees acquire skills that can immediately be put into action in their classrooms. (Note: This session is a repeat of content included in the Life Skills Institute.)
