Beginning with Braille

Join this session to learn about beginning braille instruction. Teachers will receive strategies, materials, and resources for teaching reading and writing to braille learners in late preschool through the third grade. Best practices for developing early literacy skills, focusing on skills and concepts unique to beginning braille instruction will be discussed. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.
