Teaching Writing in the K-2 Classroom





During this session, participants will dive into the Texas Essential knowledge and Skills (TEKS) strands related to writing. Strategies for the writing process and how to create an engaged community of writers will be explored. In addition, participants will be provided with activities, anchor lessons, and examples of mentor texts to use when teaching K-2 students how to write effectively.
