Makerspaces — It's Elementary!

Making is a national movement that is changing the way students learn.  In this session, classroom teachers and librarians explore ideas for creating a makerspace using the design-thinking approach.  Experience a variety of tools and methods to determine which type of makerspace materials and equipment is best for your students.  Draft a plan for makerspace implementation that includes management, scheduling, and selecting materials and equipment for K-5 grade levels.
