Removing the Mask: Giftedness in Poverty-Online Book Study

Explore issues of equality, environment, and opportunity—hidden rules of poverty as they relate to assessing giftedness in poverty through a study of Dr. Paul Slocumb and Ruby Payne's book Removing the Mask: Giftedness in Poverty. Participants will be responsible for obtaining a copy of this book, and they will complete a reflection study guide for 6 hours of G/T credit. The study guide will be provided to participants through an online Blackboard™ format. Log-on information will be sent within five working days of registration date.
