Nonfiction Revision for Every Educator - Strategies and Exercises for Helping Students Succeed at Writing in Any Subject





This full-day professional learning workshop will provide teachers with a deeper understanding of the goals of revision and offer a practical and effective toolbox to help them teach revision skills to their students. We will be explore key revision concepts, and focus on building revision skills. We will practice revision with an entertaining mix of exercises that educators will be able to use in their classrooms later. Exercises will focus on revising the paragraph, the foundation for all great writing. Participants will write their own paragraphs during the workshop, but will also be encouraged to bring writing examples from their own students.
