Pathways to Reading Comprehension: Knowing How and Where to Intervene
To Support Literacy Achievement and Reading-to-learn Academies

Improve your practice for determining how your students struggle with reading, where to begin intervention lessons, and what lessons to provide during Tier One intervention. Participants will receive information on quick assessment tools and practices for determining students' skills in phonemic awareness, word analysis, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills. The Region 4 resource, Pathways to Reading Comprehension, will be used to determine where to begin instruction and what areas to address based on the continuum of skills for each component of reading.
