Instructional Coaching: Using PLCs to Improve Student Achievement



Are you awash with data, but not sure what to do with it? Do you struggle with identifying the root causes interfering with meaningful change on your campus? In this hands-on session, explore ways to coach teachers to identify root causes of academic challenges, use data and student work samples to improve instruction, employ guiding questions to focus discussion, and conduct micro-professional development sessions that align with campus and/or department goals. Participants will apply the principles and processes of Professional Learning Communities . *This session is designed specifically for language arts/literacy instructional coaches.
