You Make a Persuasive Case: Teaching High School Students the Art of Argumentation to Improve English EOC II Composition

Participants will learn specific techniques to improve persuasive writing that are aligned with the English II TEKS as well as the English EOC II composition rubric. Explore elements of argumentation and learn how to apply these in engaging, structured activities. Used consistently, these elements help students write an organized, coherent, and focused persuasive composition.
