Let's Try That a Different Way: Using Strategic Moves to Create and Revise Expository and Persuasive Texts

Students need to think and act like a real-world writers to be effective revisers. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn to apply drafting and revision techniques writers use to make their writing focused, coherent, unified, and appealing. This workshop is designed for middle and high-school English/Language Arts Teachers and makes meaningful connections to the STAAR expository and persuasive writing rubrics.
