Key Strategies for Developing Children’s Oral Language Skills

Children who have strong-oral language skills often have strong reading and writing skills. In this session, participants will learn and apply research based strategies for developing children's oral language skills in their classrooms. Participants will receive sample lesson frameworks for fostering oral language development and ideas for involving parents will also be shared.
