Flipping the Writing Classroom: Flipped Mini-lessons for the Struggling Writer in your Class!

Reimagine your instruction for struggling writers by using the Flipped/Blended Approach to instruction. Participants will examine key components of Flipped/Blended Instruction. The session will guide participants through identifying critical areas of need for struggling writers, the development of TEKS based mini-lessons using flipped/blended instruction for your struggling writers. Participants will create a flipped mini lesson that integrates the needs of adolescent (grades 6-12) struggling writers, the demands of the state curriculum, and the rigor of the STAAR writing assessment.
