designed around the unique roles and responsibilities of educational
audiologists. Review national guidelines for meeting the needs of
students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and standards for classroom acoustics.
Explore strategies for serving students with minimal-mild-unilateral-hearing
loss and single sided deafness. Review key concepts relating to ethical,
moral and legal issues. Discuss
dilemmas as they relate to ethical and professional responsibility. Session materials and costs are partially funded by state and federal grants.
