AAC Boot Camp





Learn  evidenced-based practices for assessment, implementation and evaluation of effectiveness in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). This beginning level course is designed for Speech-Language Pathologists to strengthen their assistive technology knowledge and skills. Discover and explore a range of low- to high- tech tools and strategies to support students with complex communication needs . This session will address current research, provide hands-on practice with a variety of AAC devices and analyze relevant case studies. Session and materials are partially funded through state or federal grants. Participants must attend all days for the full day to receive speech pathology CEUs.
