Ethical Considerations for Supervision for Speech-Language Pathologists





Discuss and problem solve ethical issues for Speech-Language Pathologists as it relates to supervision. This session will provide supervisors with information to provide supervisees with objective feedback to motivate and improve performance as well as adjust supervisory styles based on level and needs of supervisee.

The Code of Ethics from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology will be reviewed as well as the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Code of Ethics. This course will also provide opportunities to analyze various supervisory models, forms, data collection, scenarios, and situations to provide a positive supervisory experience.

TSHA CE hours are available for SLPs that sign in before the speaker begins and stay for the entire session. Ongoing road construction around the Region 4 area may cause traffic delays. Please plan your drive time accordingly. Partial CE credit will not be available. This session is partially provided through state and federal grants.
