When I Grow Up: High School Career Curriculum





As part of College and Career Readiness and a comprehensive K-12 career guidance plan, students should be introduced to careers as early as elementary school and continued in middle and high school. Participants will explore the "When I Grow Up" High School career education lessons in this session. The TEKS-aligned career education lessons were created by the Houston Texas Workforce Solutions.  The lessons are designed for academic teachers, counselors, and CTE teachers to use in conjunction with current curriculum or with your school's career day. The lesson plans are TEKS-aligned, career focused and designed to be flexible so you can customize them to suit your instructional needs. Please bring a device to access the online curriculum.
