This workshop focuses on practical strategies and materials for monolingual English-speaking clinicians who serve ELLs (English Language Learners) with language impairment (LI). The workshop's contents will help clinicians who serve students from any cultural-linguistic background. The workshop will focus especially on increasing working memory, improving vocabulary and overall literacy skills, tying therapy to the curriculum, and collaborating with classroom teachers.
