Civil Rights: The Responsibilities for Compliance and Enforcement for Texas Districts under the CTE Program

All recipients of federal funds, regardless of participation in the Perkins CTE program, are subject to the civil rights statutes and regulations for the anti-discrimination provisions for race, color, national origin, disability, gender and age. Participants will receive in depth information about these civil rights protections, affirmative responsibilities for the CTE community, and the attendant responsibilities under Perkins V as well as meeting the federal OCR Methods of Administration (MOA) guidelines.  In addition, a number of case studies will be discussed.
