Essential Teaching Strategies for Individuals with Autism





Join this session to learn more about the teaching strategies that are essential for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and how to implement them in different environments. In this session, participants will receive information about 1) the unique learning styles of individuals with ASD, 2) functional skill building and how to use structure to enhance learning, 3) teaching choice making, 4) building communication and social skills, and 5) teaching relaxation and self-management techniques. Session and materials partially funded by state and federal grants.
