This session will discuss child poverty, its effects on student learning, and how teachers, and school leaders can help students beat the odds in order to produce sucesssful, healthy, productive adults.  This session will look at child poverty by race/ethnicity, geographical region, and household and other poverty issues as well as showcase the best practices for student success.
