Nonviolent Crisis Intervention: Staff Development (Customized)
BLENDED 1 DAY ONLINE/3 DAYS IN CLASS (Spring)





Acquire training on professionally accepted practices regarding behavior management and physical restraint. Understand prevention and de-escalation techniques and alternatives to restraint. Successful completion of this workshop meets state requirements for staff likely to use restraint.

In order for participants to successfully complete the training you must be on time and stay for the entire training per Crisis Prevention Institute certification guideline requirements. Late participants will be required to reschedule to another session. Participants who need to leave early will be unable to gain certification. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.



Important Session Information:



This TOT can only accommodate 40 participants per CPI requirements. District spaces are limited to 5 or less by Region 4 so that additional districts and charters can also participate. Everyone will register to the wait list and be approved based from the wait list based on the number of spots available. Enhanced Renewal Participants: Certified Instructors who have previously completed the Instructor Certification or Renewal Program with enhanced content and are seeking to fulfill their two-year instructor proficiency requirement. These instructors will complete the online portion and only attend the first day of the Instructor Certification and Renewal Course. Per person price is $989. New Instructor Candidates: Individuals seeking to earn an instructor certification or re-certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention®. These individuals will complete the online portion and attend the entire three days of the Instructor Certification and Renewal Course. Per person price of $3,249.
