Adapting Novels for Students with Significant Intellectual Disabilities





Work on adapting novels and related materials for student with significant intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Participants will learn about the steps to adapting novels, how to make meaningful related materials, and walk away with templates and checklists for launching the project in their classroom or in their district. Participants will also start adapting a novel within the training.  Please bring your own laptop if you have one. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.
