Nature and Needs of Gifted/Talented Students





Gain a deep understanding of the benefits and challenges facing gifted students. Examine and analyze the history of gifted education, legal requirements, and service design options for the education of gifted and talented students.  Explore and understand the various developmental differences, characteristics, behaviors, and needs of gifted/talented learners through research-based, hands-on activities.

Due to the course structure no later registrations will be accepted. This online course opens June 8, 2020. You will receive login and course information no later than June 5, 2020. Certificates will be available 5-7 business days after the course has closed on June 28, 2020 and all remaining assignments have been graded.
