Webinars for Speech-Language Pathologists
Helping Adolescents and Young Adults Face the Challenge of Stuttering

Learn about specialized areas of speech-language pathology in a webinar format. These convenient webinars can be accessed from your home or work computer at the times specified. They will not be available for viewing at the Region 4 location.

Important Session Information:

Session Description: As children who stutter become teenagers, the challenges they face become more complicated. The concerns of parents also become more acute, as they worry about their children's future as it relates to getting a job, getting into college, or meeting that special someone. This presentation will focus on the issues that face older school-age children and adolescents who stutter. TSHA CE hours will be available for SLPs and SLP assistants that register for the event with Region 4, access the link to be provided 2 days before the event, and attend the webinar for the entire session. The TSHA code will be provided at the end of the session. This webinar is partially funded with state and federal grants.
