Best Practices for Teaching Students with Moderate-Severe Intellectual Disabilities and Autism





Learn researched-based instructional practices designed to meet the needs of students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and autism. Participants will learn about and practice implementation of the following instructional strategies: time delay, system of least prompts, model-lead-test, task analytic instruction, and embedded instruction. Participants are encouraged to bring a personal computer (Laptop, iPad, etc.). Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.
