Identification and Assessment of Gifted/Talented Students Online





Review the definition of giftedness according to the state of Texas and understand how the Texas State Plan for Educating Gifted and Talented Students guides the process for the identification of students for gifted services.  Examine the gifted and talented identification process including information about assessment options and uncovering important considerations for the identification of culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse (CLED) students to ensure all gifted students are identified.  This is a self-paced, online course.

Due to the course structure no later registrations will be accepted. This online course opens February 8, 2021. You will receive login and course information no later than February 5, 2021. Certificates will be available 5-7 business days after the course has closed on February 27, 2021 and all remaining assignments have been graded.
