This past
spring was a testament to the creativity and commitment of teachers as the
COVID-19 swept the U.S. Everyone hopes that the upcoming school year will
signal a return to what might be a new normal, and for co-teachers that means
renewing your partnerships, anticipating how your co-teaching will be even
better this year than last, but also preparing in case some or all of it occurs
in a virtual environment. This webinar will highlight the most essential
components of co-teaching, including professional roles, co-teaching classroom
approaches, planning and other logistics, and specially designed instruction
(SDI). In addition, it will offer insights from professionals across the country
on how to make co-teaching effective in remote and virtual learning
environments. This is an opportunity to learn about or renew your
co-teaching practices, get down-to-earth suggestions from colleagues, and face
the new school year—whatever it brings-- ready to maximize student learning.
