Failure Is Not an Option: Save Our Struggling Readers (Virtual)

Are you in desperate need of techniques to help struggling readers learn to read, write and learn more effectively within the content areas? Examine strategies for teaching academic reading and writing to struggling secondary students. Explore instructional approaches that allow students to take ownership of their own learning. Participants will acquire knowledge about the needs of struggling learners and how to use powerful interactive strategies to improve learning for these students.
