Attend this live 5 part virtual series
designed for educators providing PE and APE to students with varying
disabilities and support needs. Examples of strategies will include those for
home-based as well as virtual instruction and participants will have the
opportunity to connect with staff from other districts. The series consists of
5 monthly virtual trainings (via the Zoom platform) targeting the following - Strategies
for Students with Autism, Strategies for Students with Complex Access Needs
(CAN), Connection Between APE and Orientation and Mobility (O & M), Inclusive
APE, and Physical Activities that Enhance Early Childhood Special Education
Programs (ECSE). The 5 sessions will range from 1-2 hours and will be recorded
and made available to registered participants for 14 days after each live session. This series is partially funded through state and federal
grants.
