Look Who’s Talking: 7 Evidence-Based Ways to Teach Children with Autism to Communicate





Which intervention approaches are most effective for addressing the communication and social interaction needs of children with autism spectrum disorders?  Researchers have made enormous gains in our knowledge of the best ways to intervene, but the lag between research and implementation in the “real world” is estimated to be 20 years!  Learn how to match child characteristics to the features of evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.  



Important Session Information:



TSHA CE hours will be provided to speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants that register with Region 4, register via the ZOOM link provided, and attend the entire session. After the session is complete, SLPs and SLP assistants will email gayla.lutz@esc4.net to receive an evaluation. After completing the evaluation, a scanned copy will be emailed back to Gayla Lutz and a TSHA certificate of attendance will be provided for 3 CE hours. In addition, after the session is complete all participants will receive an email from Region 4 with an evaluation. After completing the evaluation, a certificate of attendance will be available to print or download.

The link to the session will be provided at least 2 days before the session. Please do not share the link to the ZOOM session as it is intended only for the registered participant and specific to each registered participant.
