Join this session to learn more about potential solutions for the challenges that distance learning raises for students with disabilities, particularly those in need of explicit instruction. In this session, participants will 1) identify key strategies that are required for successful implementation of distance learning for learners with disabilities; 2) describe and employ strategies to plan distance learning activities based on IEP needs; 3) review strategies to increase success of distance learning for students needing explicit instruction; 4) identify methods of collecting data for students receiving distance instruction; and 5) identify methods for working with families to be effective facilitators for their students in distance learning.
