The Aspiring Superintendent and Education Leadership Academy is a program consisting of six full-day sessions designed to prepare educators who are interested in either the superintendency or senior-level administration. The first session will be an online, interactive session. The remaining sessions will be scheduled as in-person but are subject to change format depending on current health guidance.
Features of this academy cohort include: Focused emphasis on key issues instrumental to a superintendent's success; Distinguished speakers with highly successful experiences and statewide recognition; Discussion panels with prominent practicing superintendents; and Opportunities for networking.
The academy is structured for: Individuals pursuing the superintendency as a career choice; Administrators or principals seeking a senior central office position; and Central office administrators pursuing a better understanding of the superintendent's role.
