Educational Audiologist Collaboration





Join this group of professionals to actively participate in an in-depth examination of educational audiology services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Review updates on best practices and explore solutions to common dilemmas. Participants will build their network of support and increase effectiveness in the field of audiology.  Session and materials costs are partially funded through state and federal grants.

Important Session Information:



Houston area clinical and educational audiologists are invited to our annual conference covering pertinent topics on services to children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. Topics covered this year include: 

Pediatric BrainHearing: Hearing Technology to Support Development and Inclusion

Conversations with Audiologists: Parent Perspective on Understanding their Child's Hearing Loss

Hearing Aid Management and Challenges Among Hispanic Families

Phonak: Making a Difference for Children (*This session will focus solely on Phonak Hearing Aids and no other brand will be discussed).

Effects of Mask Wear on Speech Perception. 

This course is an introductory level and ASHA members will receive .45 CEU's.
