Developing District Guidelines for Community-Based Instruction (CBI) for Life Skills Programs
Onsite Region 4





Learn the principles of CBI for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in an effort to begin crafting district guidelines for this critical instructional program.  District level supervisors, coordinators, and directors are invited to consider key program components and problem-solve potential issues regarding implementation.  Participants will receive a sample template to support development of these guidelines for their district and to support strategies for data collection. Participants or at least one district team member should bring their own laptop device in order to begin developing district guidelines. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal funds.
