Welcome to the Child Abuse, Maltreatment and Human Trafficking course. This is a 1 hour self-paced online course to provide information and resources. The topics of child abuse and human trafficking are imperative for educators and other school staff to remain informed and up to date as they can help to promote awareness and the safety of our students. As a result of this course, the learner will be able to:

- Recognize risk factors for child abuse, maltreatment, and human trafficking
- Identify the legal definitions and signs of child abuse, maltreatment, and human trafficking
- Obtain resources to support Texas school districts and open-enrollment charter schools
