Prevent, Teach, Reinforce for Young Children

This 2-day PTR-YC seminar will focus on supporting young children who have persistent and challenging behavior. It begins with deepening our understanding of behavior principles and assumptions. This session builds on that foundation to create effective behavior support plans through the Prevent, Teach, Reinforce for Young Children (PTR-YC) process. Participants will learn about each step of the PTR-YC process and practice with the content using case studies through breakout rooms. This training is designed to help participants develop effective support plans for children with challenging behavior and ensure that we are implementing these behavior plans with fidelity. Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.
