In this session designed for evaluation personnel who provide clinical supervision for practicum students, interns, new evaluation staff, post-doctoral students, etc., participants will examine best practice guidelines and quality standards that promote the effective preparation of evaluation personnel. Participants will explore practical issues related to the structure of the supervision process, establishing appropriate expectations for supervisors and supervisees, characteristics of effective supervisory relationships, adhering to graduate program expectations, and maintaining adequate documentation. In addition, ethical and legal issues related to supervision will be discussed.
