Nine Ways to Write Measurable Criteria in an Annual IEP Goal

Measurable annual IEP goals are defined as statements that contain four critical components: timeframe, conditions, behavior and criterion. The goal criterion specifies the amount of growth that is expected within the goal timeframe.

Participants will learn nine different ways to identify how much, how often, or to what level the behavior must occur in order to demonstrate that the goal has been achieved.
